Start With Conservation to help Save The Colorado River!

Hello Friends of Water Conservation and River Protection!

A few weeks ago you signed a petition called "Start With Conservation" that asked Governor Hickenlooper to focus on water conservation as the State's first strategy in meeting future water supply needs.  That petition was hosted on Care2.com's website here.

Our colleagues at Start With Conservation are delivering the petition to the Governor and strongly encouraging him to do as he said he'd do in his State of the State speech: "Start every discussion about water with conservation."

What can you do now?

Great News!  Start With Conservation has joined forces with the Save The Colorado River campaign to achieve both of our goals -- saving the Colorado River by starting with water conservation.

For three years, the Save The Colorado River campaign has been working with environmental groups up and down the Colorado River basin to protect and restore the Colorado River and its tributaries. You can check out our website here:  http://SaveTheColorado.org
